When the going gets tough, Avid DS is the perfect solution. Capable of brilliant high-end effects and compositing, DS is still a very fast editing system. Real time colour correction and keying, optical glows, paint effects and the much sought after “film” look are all possible with DS. OMF and ALE transfer formats make interchange of projects with other editing systems easy. Background rendering means that workflow is improved by letting a second system complete the rendering while you carry on with the creative bits.
